Kevin Villares serves as a Junior Risk & Credit Analyst at GNEC, where he contributes to the organization’s work of expanding access to capital for entrepreneurs and small business owners in underserved communities. He brings a strong background in quantitative finance, financial analysis, and research, with a focus on supporting sound credit decisions and thoughtful risk assessment.

Kevin graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance and a Minor in Finance. Throughout his academic and professional experience, he has developed skills in financial modeling, valuation, data analysis, and business research. His background includes research on inflation-related business risk, analysis of credit drivers, and consulting work that helped shape a new educational platform from concept to MVP. He is also Bloomberg Certified and has passed CFA Level I.

At GNEC, Kevin is committed to applying his analytical skills in ways that support entrepreneurs and strengthen the lending process. He believes access to responsible capital can play a meaningful role in helping small businesses grow, build stability, and create long-term impact in their communities.
